Syracuse's Carrier, built 1980, is the flagship venue for SU Athletics, but there are several other facilities you could frequent during your time on campus.

UPDATED: Aug. 23, 2017 at 2:35 p.m.

This fall, 10 Syracuse sports will host games at six different sites on or close to the SU campus. Here is a list of what to know about each of the venues.

Carrier Dome

Address: 900 Irving Ave.

Price for student entry: student fee

You need to know the ins and outs of the Dome, because this fall, thousands of students will pile through Gate E for the 37th year. Located on Irving Avenue, the Carrier Dome hosts five sports: football, men’s and women’s basketball, and men’s and women’s lacrosse. Long known as “The Loud House,” the Carrier Dome has a maximum capacity of 49,262 people for field sports and 34,616 for basketball. The rowdiest section of the dome is usually section 104, where the student section known as “Otto’s Army” resides. You can also buy food with your SUID.

Women’s Building

Address: 820 Comstock Ave.

Price: free

The Women’s Building is the only sports venue other than the Carrier Dome located on North Campus. While the building is home to a full workout facility for students, it is also the site of all home games for SU volleyball. The gym inside the Women’s Building, which opened in 1953, can hold up to 3,000 occupants.

SU Soccer Stadium

Address: Lampe Athletics Complex, 1301 E Colvin St.

Price for student entry: free

SU Soccer Stadium opened its gates for the 21st year when the women’s soccer team hosted Connecticut on August 21. Accessible through the 344 South Campus bus which stops at Manley North, the stadium holds up to 1,500 fans in its metal bleacher surrounding the grass pitch.

The ice rink, often open for students free-skate and various other activities, boasts a brand new cooling system for the playing surface. In April 2016, the cooling system failed and all of the ice melted. Tennity holds up to 350 occupants. On Oct. 6, Syracuse will host national runner-up Wisconsin in its season home-opener.

James A. Ten Eyck Memorial Boathouse

Address: 3820 Long Branch Road, Liverpool
