Abdul Adams, former 4-star running back, has transferred from Oklahoma to Syracuse

Former four-star running back Abdul Adams has transferred to Syracuse from Oklahoma, SU Athletics announced Monday afternoon.

Adams is enrolled and taking classes at SU, per a press release. After two years with the Sooners, he will sit out 2018 and have two years of eligibility remaining starting in 2019.

The past season with OU, Adams played in 12 games, rushing for 542 yards on 59 carries. He averaged 9.2 yards per carry, tops on the Sooners for all rushers with a minimum of 20 carries.

His best game of the season came against Baylor, when Adams ran for 164 yards, most of which came on a 99-yard touchdown.
