Syracuse hosts Cornell and Navy at the Ten Eyck Boathouse Saturday morning. The teams competed for both the Goes and Stagg Trophies, which are shared by the three schools.

The first varsity 8 comes into the last 1000-meter stretch as Navy and Cornell are getting ready to take to the water. The teams watched in anticipation as the teams completed the final leg of the first race.

Syracuse's first varsity 8 are the winners of the Goes Trophy for the fourth straight time. The crew earned the spot coming in with a time of 5:40.6.

Seniors from the first varsity 8 accepted the Goes Trophy on behalf of the team. The first race of the day decided who took home the trophy.

Each race begins on Onondaga Lake and lasts 2000 meters. The teams are followed by their coaches on the coaches' launch in order for them to keep pace.

The third varsity 8 makes its first appearance in the 2024 race season. They helped the Orange sweep the Stagg Trophy by finishing the race in less than six minutes.

The men's fourth varsity 8 finished second to Cornell in the fourth varsity 8 race. It was the only loss of the day for the varsity 8s.

After finishing their races, the boys lined the dock in support for their teammates. All three teams watched as the remaining boats finished the last 1000 meters.
