Former Saint Francis linebacker Fran Brown Jr., head coach Fran Brown’s oldest son, is transferring to Syracuse.

Former Saint Francis linebacker Fran Brown Jr. is transferring to Syracuse, the program announced on social media Thursday. Brown Jr. is SU head coach Fran Brown’s oldest son.

The linebacker played in 11 games across his two years at Saint Francis, registering 35 tackles, one sack and one fumble recovery. He entered the transfer portal on Dec. 13.
Brown Jr. is listed at 5-foot-11 and 210 pounds and has three years of eligibility remaining after redshirting in 2023. Before committing to Saint Francis, Brown Jr. was rated a two-star prospect by 247Sports.
