The Syracuse Police Department has recently made a juvenile arrest for the burglaries of some off-campus apartments in areas near the Syracuse University campus, the SU Department of Public Safety announced Friday.

According to an email sent to the SU community, SPD has recovered stolen electronic items from the burglaries and notified the owners. The email added that these types of crimes are preventable and reminded people to lock their doors at all times.

DPS sent a release to the SU community on Tuesday saying that several off-campus apartments near campus had been burglarized while occupied.

The name of the person arrested for the burglaries was not disclosed.
